[TL;DR] Swiftpoint Z is the World’s first ever mouse with a built-in gyroscope to enable you to tilt & pivot. With its customisable features, Z is great for gamers, designers and power users! Use it for different types of games (FPS, MMORPG, driving & flight simulation), photo editing and design. You can even change parts to make it suit your needs. We received feedback from streamers, pro gamers and everyday folks, who said that they absolutely love it for its looks and functionality.
The Overall Rating
When you’re thinking of a gaming mouse, how often would you prefer a customisable mouse over a sturdy, non-customisable mouse? If you don’t understand what we mean by customisable and non-customisable, think about Mad Catz R.A.T. PRO X3 (customisable mouse) vs Logitech G903 (non-customisable mouse). Oftentimes, people would choose a non-customisable gaming mouse as it’s relatively cheaper and more comfortable to use, but you will change your mind after learning about Swiftpoint Z.
Swiftpoint Z is the ONLY mouse that has a built-in gyroscope, making it the World’s first mouse with tilt & pivot function. This incredible mouse has been awarded the CES Gaming Innovation of The Year, and it is so rare that there are less than 100 Swiftpoint Z mice in Singapore!
I honestly love this mouse beyond words because of the customisation. After the whole period of testing and reviewing, I wouldn’t want to use any other mouse except for the Z.
The whole packaging screams “sleek” and “cool” with a black outer box. When you open the box, another insanely beautiful travel case meets your eyes. This travel case will be really helpful for you to carry your mouse around without losing any of its important add-on parts.
This is what we envision a high-tech weapons crate from the year 2050 will be like. Just check out those details! It feels as good as it looks. You might even throw money at this beast based on its texture. Alright, enough about the external looks, let’s open this beauty.
If you are confused about all the components, don’t worry… we know how you feel. It took us less than an hour to familiarise with the parts and understand the Z. Also, it’s a simple plug-and-play mouse so anybody can use it without any complication.
You’ll find the following parts in the box:
- Long and short fingertip caps x2
- Tall and short trigger caps x2
- FlightStick extender
- Adjustable tilt feet
- Lockout feet

Tilt, Pivot & Roll
With Swiftpoint Z’s advanced technology and built-in gyroscope, your character will move with you as you lean the mouse.
You can customise tilt-level by changing the tilt feet. Simply pop it out and adjust according to your playing style. The tilt feature is great for shooting, driving and MMORPG games. To name a few, you can use the Z for games like PUBG, CS:GO, World of Warcraft, and Project Cars 2.
Picture this… while playing Player’s Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG), you are able to tilt the mouse for your character to lean out and take a shot! Customise your tilt to crouch, lean or reloading.
Pivot your mouse to look left or right while running to give you a more realistic gaming experience. With the Z, you won’t need to fumble over the keyboard and be able to focus on the killing.
Like a joystick or a gamepad controller, you can use Z’s tilt function as an analogue control for the steering wheel.
Although we are using Far Cry 3 for this example, we strongly believe that the analogue mode is best for racing games. Games like Far Cry 3 or Grand Theft Auto 5 have too many obstacles and tight roads to manoeuvre around. But if you want to prove how great of a driver you are, we welcome you to challenge our claim!
If you don’t want to utilise the tilt feature, use the lockout feet to give you a steady, smooth mouse control. It will turn the Z into a regular, powerhouse mouse.
The gyroscope can sense when the mouse is lifted and will go into a flight simulation mode. You’ll be able to pitch, roll and yaw in flight games. Add in the flight stick extender for a more stable flight control.
From functionality to sensitivity, almost everything on the Z is can be customised to your liking. It is advertised as an ergonomically designed mouse but personally, it is not suited for my small hands. Also, do note the Z is designed for right-handed individuals. There are a total of (number buttons) and my favourite is the trigger button I use for PUBG.
You’ll need to install the driver in order to customise the buttons and tilt gestures. My team and I spend quite a bit of time customising each profile on the mouse but once we are done, it is very easy to switch into any profile (Gaming Analog, Gaming Gestures, or Map All) to suit our gaming/working needs. For beginners, you might take some time trying to figure out the buttons and configuration.
You can press the button harder to activate the deep click. The pressure sensor in Swiftpoint Z will detect how much force you’re using. Swiftpoint Z will send a tactile feedback to let you know that it’s activated.
It makes designing so much easier!
Z has a range of DPI settings from 100 to 12000 which you can simply switch around by tilting your mouse 45 degrees and scrolling the middle wheel. Why is there such a huge range of DPI setting? Well, certain games (like the one we are about to show you) require 12,000 DPI while other daily activities would not require such an intense DPI.
With the Z, you can easily change sensitivity based on your current activities. For my day-to-day usage, my setting is at 3,800 DPI but set it to 1,200 DPI when I’m playing CS: GO.
You can find the OLED display on the side to check the mouse settings. You’ll able to customise it to your preferred display. When testing, I’m usually on the animated cube as it looks super dope to me. The beauty of this mouse is that the customisation will make the Z suit anybody.
We are showing you the different places you can get it from so that you can decide which is a better option for you. For example, if you’re in Singapore and decide to purchase from Amazon, you will need to pay for international shipping and handling charges. However, if you’re located in the US or Europe, buying from Amazon would be the convenient alternative.
Why should one buy
I’ve seen people using multiple mice for different situations like having a separate mouse for work, gaming and casual use. With the Z, you only need one! It’s definitely value for money… if you think about it for a long-term use case.
